Role overview

As a senior bookkeeping and accounting specialist at ASAPI, you will take a leadership role in the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations and support strategic initiatives. Your expertise will be critical for complex accounting processes, guiding team members, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise bookkeeping and financial records with accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery.
• Lead bank reconciliations; identify and resolve discrepancies proactively.
• Oversee cheque processing, bank transfers, and other payment operations.
• Own month-end and year-end close, including financial statements and reporting.
• Execute timely payments to ZATCA, GOSI, and related authorities with local compliance.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and required legal reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements that raise efficiency and accounting standards.
• Coach junior accounting team members and support their professional growth.
• Analyse financial data and produce daily, monthly, and annual reports with actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years in accounting roles, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting, and legal compliance — SaaS or tech experience preferred.
• Proven experience with month/year close and audit processes.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic financial insight.
